Trixi Rosa is a writer and performance artist from Punakaiki, Aotearoa (NZ). She has surrendered to a tender unravelling and a restless joy that just can't be held. Her art bleeds personal experience, both lived and perceived. It carves an awkward inquiry into the intersections of identity and the endless pursuit of place. Through words and body, she shares stories of struggle and survival, resilience and resistance; stories of family, love and sexuality. In 2017 she won the People’s Choice Award at the Melbourne Spoken Word Prize and in 2018 she was a Slamalamadingdong Grand Slam finalist.
